SAVE THE DATE: 31 May 29, 2026, from 12 pm to 6 pm!
You are invited to the Open Day at SFU Berlin on May 29, 2026! Between 12 pm and 6 pm, you will have the opportunity to learn all about the various study programs, courses, and training programs offered at SFU Berlin. We will present our teaching methods in mini-lectures and provide individual consultations on our study options.

In its teaching and research, SFU Berlin is committed to conveying a broad spectrum of theoretical and practical approaches to science, thereby creating fertile ground for academic and professional discourse. Thus, diverse methods and theories are taught with equal emphasis on empirical and hermeneutic foundations, as well as practical skills. This breadth is conveyed within the Bachelor’s programs, while Master’s programs allow students to choose a specialization.
All degree programs are based on the three-pillar model: THEORY – PRACTICE – PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
Our primary focus for our students and our teaching, across all degree programs, is the development of an individual professional identity, the establishment of a critical stance in academic discourse, and personal maturity. Therefore, admission is not based on a numerus clausus, but rather on personal aptitude for the respective field of study.

The opportunities for our still-young university lie in providing innovative education, student-centered teaching, identifying and occupying promising research niches, and being an intellectual home for experience-hungry students where they can thrive.
The SFU Berlin Campus is located directly on the historic Tempelhof Airport grounds, with facilities right on Platz der Luftbrücke (Air Bridge Square). The central location of SFU Berlin is easily accessible by public transport (U6 subway line: Platz der Luftbrücke station or bus lines 104/248: Columbiadamm/Friesenstraße or Columbiadamm/Platz der Luftbrücke).
Friends & Family welcome
At the Open Day, you’ll have the opportunity to get a first glimpse into SFU campus life. Prospective students can meet lecturers, program directors, and current SFU students in their chosen field of study at the dedicated STUDI CAFÉ. The SSC Student Service Center of SFU Berlin will also be available to answer questions about financing your studies, organization, and enrollment for the 2026/27 winter semester.
No registration is required – we look forward to meeting you!
