Mag. Dr. Mario Lehenbauer-Baum focuses on Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology. He holds licensure as a psychologist in both Austria (as a “Clinical Psychologist” and “Health Psychologist”) and the United States (as a “Licensed Psychologist” in Tennessee and Florida). After earning his doctorate in psychology at the University of Vienna, Austria, he continued his academic career at SFU before relocating to the United States in 2013.
In the USA, Dr. Lehenbauer-Baum worked at Vanderbilt University and served as a Statistical Research Analyst for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, before he established himself as a Licensed Psychologist in private practice in Tennessee and Florida.
His teaching areas in the International Psychology Program at SFU Vienna include Clinical Psychology, Clinical Interventions, and Paradigms of Clinical Psychology (all delivered in English).
