Peter Markič holds a university degree in psychology. In 1997, he completed his master's degree in Communication Studies – Market Communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences and became a master of communication studies. Since 2011, he has been employed at the School for Headmasters, where he has lectured on Self-Management and Motivation of Colleagues. He also lectures at the Bled College of Hotel Management and Tourism on the subject of Personal Management. As a lecturer, he has led numerous seminars and workshops in the fields of sales psychology, business negotiation, ethics, management, and communication for various companies and institutions. He is a member of the national unit for psychological assistance to victims of mass disasters. He participates in the training of confidants. He conducts group and individual stress relief talks for firefighters and other emergency services after difficult interventions. At the Angela Boškin Faculty of Health, he is a university lecturer in the subject of Psychology and Communication in Health and Nursing. He is the author of several higher education textbooks and chapters on ethics in the handbook Competences for the 21st Century and in the monograph Psychologist in a Dilemma: Ethical Content and Ethical Awareness in Practice.
