Information on the PT/W compulsory internships at the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic at Platz der Luftbrücke

Licensed outpatient therapists, teaching therapists and colleagues in training to become psychotherapists work at the teaching and research outpatient clinic. In addition, students of psychotherapy science of the SFU Berlin act as interns in the orientation and/or research internship or higher-semester PTW students in the course of the professional qualification activity (BQT I-III). The student work is considered a compulsory training module to be completed in the psychotherapy degree programme leading to professional qualification. All treatments take place under supervision and internship reflection, i.e. professionally experienced psychotherapists are responsible for and accompany the treatments. PTW students and SFU PiAs can find all details, current advertisements and free places in their SFU Account A5.

PT 2 can also be completed at the outpatient clinic. The so-called PT2 positions for psychotherapists in training at the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic are remunerated. Practical Activity II comprises a total of 600 hours and can be completed in the outpatient clinic with a weekly working time of 26 hours. The total duration of the internship is usually 6 months and consists of organisational activities in the outpatient clinic as well as the possibility of first patient contacts.
