Dr Beatrice Blümel, LL.M. (IT-Law) was a university assistant at the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Vienna and completed the postgraduate university course in Information and Media Law at the University of Vienna. In 2018, she worked at the Ministry of Justice in the Austrian Presidency team in the area of copyright law and was most recently registered as a lawyer with the Vienna Bar Association. She currently works at the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
