Resume
He completed his studies in psychology with a thesis on counterintuitive thinking. Immediately after graduating, he was employed in the Department of Psychology as an assistant at the Chair of Social Psychology. At the same time, he enrolled in a master's program and continued on to a doctoral program, which he completed with a dissertation titled Structure and Dynamics of Social Reality from the Perspective of the Relationship between the Individual and the Social Environment. In this work, he addressed the central problem of social psychology: the relationship between the individual and society. The work grew into a book entitled Jaz in mi: raziskovanje temeljev socialne psihologije (Me and Us: Exploring the Foundations of Social Psychology) (Ljubljana: IPSA (2007)). After his doctorate, he began to focus on the more practical aspects of human sociality, approaching them phenomenologically or from a first-person perspective, and began to develop the concept of self-knowledge as an alternative to existing forms of psychological work with people and a vision of existential science, whose field of research is the comprehensive experience of human existence.
Areas of research: social reality, exploratory conversation, the human condition, self-actualization, sublimation.
