Resume
Prof. Barbara Cvikl has been Chair of Conservative Dentistry at Sigmund Freud University since December 2018. She completed her studies in human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna in 2001 and in dentistry in 2006. In addition to her elective surgery for dentistry, oral and maxillofacial medicine, she began working as an assistant doctor at the Department of Conservative Dentistry of the University Dental Clinic Vienna in 2006. From 2013 to 2015, she was a visiting researcher at the Department of Dental Conservation, Preventive and Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Bern, Switzerland. In 2015 she habilitated in dentistry and in the same year
obtained the title of Associate Professor at the MUW, where she worked until she moved to the SFU.
