Claas de Boer has a diploma in psychology, he is a certified psychotherapist as well as certified sexual therapist. From 2009 to 2020 he worked as a psychotherapist and research assistant in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Sexual Medicine of the Medical School of Hannover. There he was a staff member of the Hannover department of the Prevention Project Dunkelfeld. In addition, from 2015 to 2020 he was a self-employed member of the Hannover Competence Center for Sexual Medicine, providing couples therapy and sexual therapy. Since 2021 he is working in an own private practice for sexual therapy.
