Resume
Dr. Theresa Entringer received her PhD from the University of Mannheim. Currently, she is working as a researcher at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Berlin (https://www.diw.de/de/diw_01.c.620463.de/personen/entringer__theresa.html). Her research interests are two-fold: On the one hand she is interested in the interaction of personality traits and ambient social norms. Specifically, she tries to better understand to which degree personality traits are associated with a motive for assimilation or contrast from social norms. On the other hand, since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, she is interested in the impact of the crisis on mental health. Her research in that area focuses on the question how the contact restrictions that were implemented to combat the spread of the coronavirus affected loneliness and which individuals suffered suffered most from the restrictions.
