is the dean of the Study programme „Social Work“ (B.A.) at the European Distance Learning University Hamburg. She studied education, psychology and intercultural business communication in Jena, Strasbourg and Clermont-Ferrand and completed her doctorate on the topic of intercultural mediation at Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2012. Until 2017, she was a substitute professor at the UNESCO Chair of Heritage Studies/Interculturality at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. In addition to her work at the Euro-FH, she heads the German Mediation Research Group (ForMed). She is co-founder of the School of Intercultural Mediators (SIM) and active in the scientific advisory board of the journal Konfliktdynamik. She is active as a mediator and researcher at national and international level.
