Heinrich Resch, clinical osteologist, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, internist. Head of the Department of Medicine II at the Hospital of the Sisters of Mercy in 1060 Vienna, Head of the Centre for Rheumatism and Bone Diseases at the Rheumazentrum Oberlaa/ThermeMED
Vienna. As a clinician with experience in basic research, he is able to implement basic and
patient-oriented research, teaching in theory but also in clinical practice. Of particular interest is the performance and analysis (morphometry, uCT, NanoCT, gene expression of cytokines) of bone biopsies in osteological diseases.
