Resume
Univ. Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Constantin Sora is the head of the Bachelor's programme in Human Medicine at Sigmund Freud University Vienna. As a specialist anatomist, he devoted himself to plastination at an early stage. Prof. Sora learned plastination during a stay of several years in Dr. von Hagen's laboratory in Heidelberg. At the end of the 1990s, Prof. Sora took over the management of the plastination laboratory at the Medical University of Vienna and
developed it into one of the most important laboratories worldwide. Between 2004 and 2008, Prof. Sora was President of the International Society for Plastination. For his achievements, he received an honorary doctorate from the Medical University of Timisoara, Romania, in 2016.
