Assistant Professor of Clinical Osteology with a focus on osteoporosis
Resume
Dr Afrodite Zendeli is a specialist in internal medicine at Herz Jesu Hospital. Her clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic bone diseases, her research focus is the development and therapy of stress fractures. After studying human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, she was able to complete her specialist training at the Barmherzige Schwestern and Herz Jesu hospitals in Vienna. As part of her scientific work, Dr Zendeli worked at the Austin Hospital of the University of Melbourne in Australia from 2013-2015. Since 2016 she has been a member of staff at the Department of Osteology at Sigmund Freud University Vienna.
