Dr. Milen Minkov is Chairman of the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Rudolf Foundation Hospital and Head of the International LCH Study Centre at St. Anna Children's Cancer
Research in Vienna. He is currently President of the Histiocyte Society. Dr Minkov completed his medical studies in Moscow and his specialist training in paediatrics and paediatric haematology/oncology in Moscow and Vienna. His research interest is in histiocytoses. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles, as well as numerous book chapters, and consensus papers. Dr. Minkov was awarded the professional title
of university professor at the MUW in 2012 and an honorary professorship in Moscow in 2016.
